Gold Medal: awarded to projects which represent such innovations that carry out a fundamental change in the functions of a procedure, create a new procedure, or substantially improve a known one. Key aspects taken into account were the impact of innovations on efficiency and safety at work, the environment and energy efficiency. This medal rewarded innovations of Argentine origin, where more than 60% of the value of the components was manufactured in Argentina.
Silver Medal: awarded to innovations that were already known and that had made progress in their functions and procedures.
